Web Developer - Contractor: 10-15 hours per week. Starts immediately. (Seattle Area)

Seattle web application company seeking experienced web developer. We have created a unique, hosted CMS that allows our customers to create and manage their dynamic website and collaborate online. Our system allows for customization and the addition of modules as a project requires.
A majority of the customer work is for small to mid-sized businesses and organizations (industries: non-profit, travel, building, environmental, etc.). Most of these companies need customized solutions tailored to their unique business needs and this is what we deliver.
Start as a part-time (10-15 hrs/wk), contracted (1099) web developer. You will begin working within the existing development framework. Initially, the focus will be on delivery of promised installations to clients. Basically, you will be helping us maintain the CMS and build dynamic websites. There is great potential for continuous work.
Required Experience and Skills:
* Highly skilled in PHP, MySQL and Javascript
* Proficiency with HTML, CSS
* Experience with jQuery is required
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to write clear, cross-browser and standards-compliant XHTML/CSS
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, produce clear results and collaborate frequently
* Ability to work remotely and meet at our office in the U-District periodically - ONLY LOCAL APPLICANTS PLEASE
* Completed (or in progress) bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Knowledge of relational database concepts
* A good sense of humor
