Spatial, social website for ecosystem services and conservation (berkeley)

A progressive startup in Berkeley is looking for a web developer with a strong background in web design. This position is to help build and launch a new website and web service interface. The web site’s purpose will be to connect and involve end-users to real-world conservation efforts by integrating existing social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Google +) to a spatial database of conservation projects.
A successful applicant (Individual or company) must be comfortable in implementing high level HTML 5, Java Runtime, and Adobe Flash, mobile application APIs (iOS, Android, Blackberry OS, Windows Phone), and Google Maps and Earth APIs. Additional knowledge of web security protocols, database frameworks (SQL or equivalent), and network scaling will be given additional consideration.
This is employment opportunity will be contract based and contingent on met deliverables. Once the contract is completed the opportunity for a full time position/partnership with the company will be considered to aid in the website’s continued development and maintenance of services.
