Experienced Web Developer Needed (NYC)
City: Newyork
We are a small firm located in Brooklyn NY in search for an experienced web developer to work closely with our team. You can work remotely, but be in the NYC area. We would like to begin a trial period immediately, with the opportunity to have consistent guaranteed work (on a part time retainer) for the right candidate. Candidate MUST be available during the day for email and phone calls. Please no companies.
? Must have a bachelors degree in computer science or related field
? Experience with Drupal and Wordpress ( + ECommerce Cart Development )
? Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and remote scripting fundamentals preferred (jQuery in particular)
? Knowledge of DOM and DOM functions
? Solid knowledge of CSS and HTML
? Solid knowledge of PHP
? Knows Apache and MySQL
? Good understanding of and demonstrated ability to utilize XML/JSON based RESTful APIs and other web services
? HTML 5 or any experience programming for mobile apps a PLUS!
The Ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:

* Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
* Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
