Flash Animator needed to make short business video… (Wichita)
City: Wichita
I am in search of a person to create an Adobe Flash-style animation for our company. This is a contract job (1099), plus we may require additional videos created in the same style. Firms are OK to reply. Do not prejudge your skills. ANYONE that has a demo reel of their animation/video work is happy to reply. The only requirement is that is that you reply with a link to your demo reel. Since video files can be huge, DO NOT SEND the file! If you do not have a web site, upload it to YouTube or similar site for us to look at. Your demo reel will be your first interview.
Compensation will be open to negotiations based on your skills and experience. I am open to pay by the project or by the hour. I want to keep this local to Wichita, to help out Wichita’s economy, but will take all comers.
Overview of video we are wanting to create:
The promo ‘video’ will only be about 4 minutes long.
The video will be placed on our web site for visitors to get a quick tour of our site and services. The animation will be a ‘visual’ for an audio narration. Our narrator will be talking about the company, how to navigate and use our site and what and how to use our services. We are looking at using simple South Park-type animations, even something as simple as stick figures, similar to Stick Figure Theatre. We want it to look simple, even childish, with figures and items drawn with crayons. The visuals will be humorous in nature and fast paced since it is providing the visuals to the narration. There does not need to be a ton of props in the video, just enough to get the point across. There will be a main character that the site ‘is happening to’ while the narrator goes through the speech.
If you have what it takes, then please send us your demo reel link in a reply email. As I mentioned before, DO NOT SEND the video file! Also, Wichita area candidates are a plus. Do not prejudge your work! Even if you are just starting our in Flash, if you have a demo reel, get us a link! Even if you think it is bad, we may love it.
Thanks for taking the time to read our ad!
