Graphics Tech Needed
MUST BE LOCATED IN THE N. CALIFORNIA AREA
A Graphic Web Tech is needed to create content for a web-based demo of a corporate site mock-up. This will entail approximately 50-75 images to be placed on about 5-7 web pages, more than half of which can come from existing web content on current web sites. Some of the graphical content must be created from scratch. It is hoped that the person doing this work can propose a concept for the graphics to be created or used for this job. Some images will require HTML tags ? typically links ? and a small amount of simple automation, such as dynamic content via RSS or other simple mechanism where we may have no control over the content source. For example Yahoo news feeds are all available via RSS, and we use those and certain weather and stock information in a similar way. Note that none of these feeds will be used here, but one or more others may be used if they are available. It is likely that a separate web designer will assist the graphics tech in incorporating the HTMO or scripting required to implement any dynamic features, but the graphics tech will participate in proposing features that will make the site more robust.
The tasks required mostly consist of producing graphical mock-ups. The consultant must be able to look at the requirements and propose a graphical look with content that would likely be a reasonable way of showing a new presentation of a corporate networked application as a mostly non-functional mock-up. Each graphic will be reviewed and refined with other people through file exchange, web conference and/or in person meetings. The ideal candidate must have great Photoshop skills, other graphic skills, and possibly web design experience using Dreamweaver or other similar tool(s). Ideally the person will be able to quickly propose how a company may likely want to show certain types of specific content having to do with connectivity and networked office applications and about their own products.

Also, please specify if you are willing to consider the possibility of accepting partial cash and partial equity in exchange for the work done, along with your expected payment terms and your rate for additional work should we increase the scope of the project you have bid on.

This is an ideal job for and entrepreneurial person who wants to get into a company on the ground floor.
