I’m a contract web app developer in the downtown core. I have some jobs that I need an extra hand with.
Work is mostly in PHP.
Hopefully you know:
HTML and CSS. PHP (perhaps strong experiences elsewhere + a strong desire to pickup PHP fast)
Databases (MySQL)
Framework experience is plus.
Have genuine interest.
Much development is in CakePHP (PHP MVC analogue of Ruby on Rails)
If you’re new to Cake but want to learn it, still reply.
Have projects of varying difficulty. Work on a corporate site, contracts with other startups. etc.
Open to.. Students, other full-time web developers/contractors, professionals etc.
Small contracts with quick turnover, can lead to regular work, part-time+
