iPad app developer needed (cupertino)

Startup company looking for a talented developer with a great feel for UI design familiar with the iPhone/iPad SDK to develop our iPad application from the ground up while we focus on our web application. Will need to work closely with our product, design and development teams to capture our look and feel while simultaneously leveraging the strengths of the iPad platform. We are not looking for a straight port but rather an app that takes advantage of the rich feature set of the SDK and applies them to our product, hopefully yielding a “best of both worlds” result. We would prefer this scope of work to be engaged on a contract basis but it will require extensive collaboration both electronically and face-to-face in our Cupertino office. Experience working with seasoned and driven engineers and designers is critical. Compelling portfolio is a must.
