Senior Web Programmer - Independent Contractor Position (Los Angeles)

Senior Web Programmer needed for leading web development company. This is an Independent Contractor Position. MUST LIVE IN OR NEAR TO LOS ANGELES. Even though this is a telecommuting position you will be required to meet in person occasionally and for the first interview.

Alan Dale Enterprises, Inc. is a leading web development company providing solutions for a wide variety of companies and industries.
Requirements:
Must be proficient in setting up shopping cart solutions with ecommerce and backend integration with 3rd party applications, shipping modules, fulfillment company file transfers, and integrating with accounting systems. Experience in both implementing 3rd party software and developing custom web applications or modules a must.
Proficient with: PHP, MySQL, XML, CSS, and Flash animation. Various Shopping Carts and content management systems (like Joomla).
Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills will be needed on small projects. Will need to be able to implement web site graphics provided by graphic artists. Experience modifying shopping cart and 3rd party templates will be needed.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for estimating projects and delivering them in a timely manner. Projects will vary in size from minor maintenance to very large custom development projects. Must be completely comfortable working from home from your own workstation with your own development tools. Must do most work on a PC. Very little direct client involvement will be needed. Design specs will be provided for estimates. Compensation paid on a per project or task basis.
MUST LIVE IN OR NEAR TO LOS ANGELES. Will be required to have an in person interview.
