Senior UI Developer / CSS & XHTML Master (Bay Area)

Tangible UX, a user experience design team is seeking Senior UI Developers to contract with.
Responsibilities
* Translate design comps into standards-based, SEO-friendly XHTML and CSS code.
* Create functional prototypes that demonstrate advanced UI behaviors and effects with jQuery.
Technical Requirements:
* Advanced skills in HTML, XHTML, and CSS with the ability to hand-code.
* Strong knowledge of JavaScript including object-oriented JavaScript, DOM scripting, and AJAX.
* Experience with one or more JavaScript libraries/frameworks, such as jQuery(preferred), Prototype/script.aculo.us, YUI, MooTools, etc.
* Experience producing and optimizing graphics for the Web (Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator)
* Knowledge of some object-oriented programming languages or application frameworks such as Java, JSP, .Net, PHP is recommended.
* Experience with Flash and Flex is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics.
* Able to dedicate at least X+ num hours/week on project.
* Ability to work on-site with client in SF/Bay Area as well as telecommute.
