Are you an experienced web developer? Compass Rose Media is looking for experienced, talented and versatile contract Drupal Developers. We specialize in content creation for web, video, and interactive media. We are a fun, creative team dedicated to producing high-impact media, with studios in Santa Cruz, CA and Portland, OR.
Who are we looking for?
You have at least 5 years experience designing and programming websites for real clients. You can drive a project from concept to completion. Your work is bulletproof, flexible, and cross-browser compatible. You thrive on technical challenges. You know the ins and outs of web development. You know how to pull data from XML files and databases, and integrate with analytics solutions such as Google Analytics. You have expert level skills in open source web solutions: PHP/MySQL, Drupal, Wordpress and shopping cart solutions such as ZenCart or Magneto. You have skills integrating rich media and “social media” into your sites and writing SEO-optimized code. You are meticulous, thorough, and calm under fire. You are organized, down to earth, and have great communication skills.
