Visual / Interface Designer - Consulting and Incubation Firm (SOMA / south beach)

* Who We Are *
A young, brash technology product development and consulting firm. We work primarily for the music industry - music technology companies, record labels, well known artists - but work in the tech/startup world as well. While our bread and butter is consulting, we’re about to start our first internal consumer product and are looking to do more in the near future.
We have a highly independent work environment. There are no hard requirements for office time, when you can take time off, etc. Taking initiative and getting work done is in your court. Naturally, we’re looking for people who are good in a more flexible environment.
Lastly, while we have a ton of tech competency, we’re still relatively light on design internal to our company. This is an excellent opportunity to come into a young organization and help shape its design direction.
* Who We Want *
We’re looking for an interaction / interface / visual designer who:
- Loves being creative designing user experiences
- Gets the web and enjoys designing for it
- Is inspired by the possibilities for interesting design in the mobile world
- Understands web tech well enough to inform their design
- Can work independently
* The Position *
We have a broad range of design needs, but may be bringing more than one designer into the group in the near future. Work will include:
- Helping develop company presentations & web presence
- Interface work on client projects for the web and mobile devices
- Assisting with pitches
- Brainstorming interface concepts
- Work on internal/incubated products.
We’re open to full time and part time relationships.
