Experienced Drupal 5 & 6 Developer and Coder

source communities and are involved in Drupal’s growing and
expanding community. We encourage a fun and creative work
environment, open communication and offer flexible. We are strong
proponents of the telecommuting concept and thus do not
necessarily need you to be in our office or located next door. All
we wish is that you are responsible and fulfill our needs as well
as our clients.
We are looking for a developer and coder experienced with Drupal 5
and 6.
If you prefer working as a freelancer, enjoy challenges and are
excited about Drupal, we may have just what you are looking for.
Pay rate will depend on your relevant experience and ability and
will scale with your skills.
Requirements are as follows:
- VERY Experienced in coding with Drupal 5 and 6
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
- Comfortable using Linux
- Quick and motivated at learning new tasks
- Inventive, innovative and industrious
- Will agree to daily interactions with management team while on a
project
- Works well independently
- Excellent time management skills
- Have broadband connection
- A thorough understanding of MySQL, JQuery and AJAX, XML and PHP
Perks:
- Interest in understanding Semantic Web (Sparkl and RDF)
- Some project management skills, dealing with bug reporting and -
workflows — i.e. taking tickets and reporting via project
management interface, time tracking.
- Understand Flash Actionscripting 3.0
- Understand how to program, manage and work with media resources
(Video, Audio, SWF)
- Have coded Drupal modules that have been contributed to the -
D.O community
- Drupal best practices adherence
- Drupal coding optimization
- Drupal secure coding and awareness of security related issues
for clients
