Web Designer Wanted -> Temp to Perm -> Immediate Hire (Clearwater)

A Clearwater based entity is looking to hire a well experienced web designer with graphics design and editing capabilities to complete numerous web projects over the next few weeks. This position is a temp-to-perm and very tightly controlled telecommute opportunity.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will…
- Be a high school graduate. College credits are a plus.
- Have a minimum of two years web design experience or alternatively an impressive portfolio proving clean corporate design ability.
- Be proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, raster and vector graphics design and editing.
- Be experienced in developing flexible and modular page layouts.
- Reside within the immediate Clearwater area.
- Be responsible enough to perform in an unsupervised work-from-home environment. This position is simply not practical for anyone with a home working environment that is subject to continuous disruption.
- Be able to provide their own hardware and software. If hired full time, we will issue company owned equipment.
- Understand this is a goal oriented position. There are progress deadlines you will be obligated to meet and productivity will be closely monitored.
Additional Information:
- You must be able to code web technologies without depending on WYSIWYG editors or applications that use extension dependencies such as Microsoft Frontpage. We desire an individual who can raw code these technologies.
- Candidates who also have experience in any of the following are also favored: PHP, MySQL, CMS, SEO.
- This is a telecommute opportunity. Only responsible candidates are encouraged to apply. You will be required to physically attend the office at least twice per week for progress updates. This project is budgeted and productivity will be closely monitored.
- 1099 initial hire.
