Internet / blog research, writing and editing…

Chicago-based technology startup has a need for an internet / blog researcher who also has the experience and ability to write and edit text for a short project (40 hours).
1) You must have complete comfort using standard productivity tools, such as Microsoft Word and an Internet browser.
2) You must be an avid blog reader and perhaps even maintain a blog yourself.
3) You must be able to locate blogs on a variety of topics (to be provided to you).
Ideally,
1) You will have some prior experience working at a print (magazine, newspaper) and/or online publication as a writer or an editor.
2) You should have a sense of popular trends and up to date themes in a variety of topics, i.e. politics, lifestyle, technology, travel, local news, etc.
3) You will have experience and ability to do some writing on a variety of popular topics.
4) You can think on your own and have the background to bring a perspective to popular themes.
This assignment is more than just research… you will be writing, editing and organizing information as well.
Finally, you must be reliable and willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
The initial set of research is expected to be 40 hours of work. We may have a need for additional work when this is complete. We would like to commence this project immediately.
