AD HOC Web Designer, SEO technician, Web Developer: Grand Rapids, MI (Grand Rapids, MI)
We have a website, like the layout, and would like to find someone on an HOURLY BASIS to update the site; continue with SEO; make modifications; add features; . . . and generally manage the web site.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to fill in otherwise vacant time — usually these are not urgent matters so you can work around your own schedule. All we ask is that you give us a time frame/deadline, whatever that is, and you meet it. Simple! We do not care where you are located.
This is a LONG TERM, PART TIME (ad-hoc), CONTRACT position for design, development, debugging, implementation, maintenance, and search engine optimization.
You MUST be fully qualified, capable, and otherwise be able to demonstrate that you have the ability to create, code, troubleshoot, and otherwise optimize “corporate” looking websites (e.g., NOT Mom/Pop or cookie cutter template sites). You MUST have actual and demonstrated experience developing and promoting websites.
You MUST have ALL the skills necessary to be able to design, develop, debug, implement and maintain the website YOURSELF, including the search engine optimization.
Other qualifications:
-You must have excellent web design and development skills;
-You must have knowledge of both proper (white hat-what to use) and improper (black hat-what to avoid) SEO techniques and be able to obtain results w/o improper techniques;
-You must have excellent communication skills;
-You must be able to supervise yourself and have a strong work ethic;
-You must be honest, hard working and have a dedication to succeed; and finally
-You must have ALL the skills necessary to be able to design, develop, debug, implement and maintain the website YOURSELF, including knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising methods;
If we like your work, there is the ability to secure more work via additional (numerous) websites, but the working relationship must be established/proven. We currently have over 100 domains that require various websites.
Beginning pay will be based on experience will increase in accordance with what you bring to the table and/or increase in traffic (i.e., as your skills are proven). We are looking for someone who knows they are good and is able to prove it. For those who desire (or need) a high hourly rate up front and without such demonstrated proof of being able to assist us, … need not apply.
